We were keen to find somewhere that offered as much space downstairs as it did up and vice versa as we were two generations living under one roof. This was the only place we saw that offers that equal amount of space on both floors.The area is quiet and away from the town yet having the village up the road is always useful. We’ve done a few bits since being here, most of it outside. We removed lots of fir trees at the end of the garden and invested a lot of time landscaping both the front and the back. We also updated the boiler and have decorated most of the house.
