What a beautiful period property in a very desirable area of Tunbridge Wells. From the start this home has advantages. A gravel driveway allows parking for several cars, meaning no need for on street battles and paying for permits. The lovely period frontage is welcoming and gives a flavour of what can be found inside. With a large lower-ground floor footprint housing a cosy lounge area for relaxing at the end of busy day, and well laid kitchen and dining areas, the heart of this home is right here, with plenty of space to spread out. There is even a handy utility room and cloakroom here with access to the generous rear garden. The ground floor hosts two generous bedrooms, one of which is currently used as a family room, and the family bathroom, as well as a study. All of these rooms can be reconfigured to suit what you need, either in terms of bedrooms or living space - teenagers den, toddlers play room, hobby room, study…. the possibilities are limited by your imagination. The top floor is where you can find the final two double bedrooms with feature fireplaces and picture rails keeping the charming character flowing throughout. In addition to the wonderful internal accommodation, at the end of the rear garden is a substantial out building with power and light which could be used as a business premises or studio. Again, let your imagination run free. What the Owner says:
This home has been great for us as the family has grown. Close to some fabulous schools, and walking distance to the town centre and station, it has meant we haven't had to be permanent taxis to our kids as they grew up. The various living spaces on different floors and the outbuilding at the end of the garden has allowed us to give the family space, while still being safe and knowing where they are, and we have been able to change the uses over the years to suit what we needed. What we use as the lounge area now, was at one time a dining room, and bedroom 3 was the lounge before being turned into a bedroom! We hope that the new owners will create new and lasting memories in this lovely home.Room sizes:GROUND FLOOREntrance HallBedroom 3: 15'1 x 12'0 (4.60m x 3.66m)Bedroom 4/used as Family Room: 12'10 x 9'2 (3.91m x 2.80m)Study: 10'10 x 7'4 (3.30m x 2.24m)BathroomLOWER-GROUND FLOORHallwayLounge Area: 12'0 x 11'9 (3.66m x 3.58m)StoreKitchen Area: 12'3 x 9'5 (3.74m x 2.87m)Dining Area: 12'3 x 8'1 (3.74m x 2.47m)Utility RoomCloakroomLandingBedroom 1: 15'7 x 13'6 (4.75m x 4.12m)Bedroom 2: 11'1 x 9'3 (3.38m x 2.82m)OUTSIDEGravel DrivewayRear GardenOut building: 23'7 x 21'10 (7.19m x 6.66m)
