The Vendor's View

We were first attracted to the quiet location, which is also within walking distance of the town centre, railway station and beach. We liked the plans and wanted a new build on a spacious plot. This house provided all!

My favourite room is the sitting room; it is a light and sunny room with a dual aspect, overlooking the back garden and the beautiful trees to the front.

The local community of Reading Street has a village feel with a church and public house, and a farm nearby with views across to the lighthouse at North Foreland.

The town is a lovely traditional seaside resort, which holds Folk Week each summer. The high speed train provides an excellent link to London. Joss Bay, one of seven beautiful, sandy bays in Broadstairs is a short walk away, past the local golf course or along the public foot path across the fields. Broadstairs is lucky to have an oustanding infant, junior and grammar school. It is a lovely area to live in and has so much to offer families.

I will miss the garden and the neighbours most. This house has been a lovely family home for 44 years, where I have celebrated many happy family occasions and events with my children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren.
