The Vendor's View

We bought the property as a new build in 2001. We were impressed by the generous sized garden, and also the space around the house. Unlike other developments at the time, the houses in Newmans Close weren t all squeezed in together and the four houses here all benefit from plenty of privacy and tranquillity, and of course it s very safe here.

The garden is easily our favourite place to be and we spend as much time out there as possible. We have spent a lot of time creating the outdoor space that is there today, and have many happy memories. The whole property is very spacious and we like the fact that all four bedrooms are doubles. The dining room is a lovely room to spend time in, with it s French doors that lead out onto the garden, especially lovely on a sunny day when you can open them up and bring the outside in. The lounge is a good size and shape, with a good atmosphere and a cosy feel.

We love the quiet yet convenient location, not far from the railway station and mere minutes walk away from the steps down to the sandy beach at Stone Bay. The North Foreland Golf Course is just around the corner and the house is an easy 10-15 minute walk from town. It s great to be within walking distance, and yet far enough away to live in a quiet position.

We are now looking to downsize, but we know we will miss the garden and of course our lovely neighbours. We have many happy memories of our children growing up here and playing with their children, and we will treasure those always.
