What a great example of a family home. It is in perfect order but gives the new owner the chance to modernise some areas should they so desire.Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the local primary school you can come home each day and park on your drive or on those frosty nights why not park in your garage. The lounge/dining room is situated at the back of the house and offers a great space to relax with the family or entertain guests. The lounge has been extended to create a sun room with views over the rear garden. This room could lend itself to a variety of uses maybe a dining area to give you a larger lounge or perhaps a study or a place for the children’s toys. The kitchen which looks out over the cul-de-sac is smart and tidy but could be enhanced with a bit of modernisation – ideal if you’ve always wanted to choose and design your own kitchen.Upstairs and the bedrooms are all a good size. The main has floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes and the second bedroom has a range of fitted furniture incorporating a cabin bed. The low maintenance garden is enclosed with rear gate access so the children can play safely while you sit and enjoy a cuppa.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
My parents moved here in 1985 and set about making the property as low maintenance as possible.
When they extended the lounge to create additional space they also laid the garden to patio and replaced all the soffits and facias with UPVC.
As the years went by Mum and Dad always looked after the house updating and maintaining when necessary. Maybe now as fashions have changed it could do with a little modernising in some areas. It was always a really nice quiet place to come and visit and always felt warm and inviting. I know it was a happy house with friendly neighbours who would always look out for each other and take in a parcel for you.
