Set in the conservation area and only moments from Whitstable station and high speed rail connection, this detached bungalow has a lot to offer and would make a very convenient base for a family. The extensive central hallway gives an immediate sense of space as you step inside. A large rear extension has added significant living space with a conservatory boosting that still further. A light and welcoming dining/family room is adjacent to the well appointed kitchen and is certainly the focal point of the home. Perfect for a family to be together after days at work and school.By comparison the lounge takes a calm, more relaxed feel and is the ideal spot to curl up on the sofa with a good book, especially with the log burner crackling away in the corner.Outside the gardens are generous despite the central town position, allowing children to play with ease, or simply catch the rays on the patio. So convenient, the town, harbour, schools, bus routes and of course the sea are only a stroll from home.Do not miss this! What the Owner says:
This has been a wonderful family home in which we have many fond memories. The home is close to all the amenities with supportive churches, close to a great beach with many activities for all ages throughout the year, 10 minutes from the countryside of downland Kent with many countryside refreshment points! There are schools (nursery to university), in the area and all served by a good bus service. For commuting, we used the regular and reliable train service, also Whitstable joins the A2 which takes you straight onto the M2 or M20. Our children, now young adults, loved their home and can't see why we want to move. We hope a new family will take over the helm, and enjoy this thriving seaside town as much as our family has.Room sizes:Entrance HallBedroom 2: 11'10 x 11'9 (3.61m x 3.58m)Lounge: 14'2 x 11'9 (4.32m x 3.58m)Bedroom 1: 12'5 x 11'5 (3.79m x 3.48m)Bedroom 3: 11'9 x 8'1 (3.58m x 2.47m)Bathroom/ShowerKitchen/Breakfast Room: 14'1 x 11'2 (4.30m x 3.41m)Family Room/Dining Room: 14'8 x 14'4 (4.47m x 4.37m)Conservatory: 11'8 x 6'8 (3.56m x 2.03m)Front GardenDrivewayRear Garden
