The Vendor's View

It was the private and secluded location that first drew us to this property, tucked away down a private road, yet within walking distance from schools and local amenities. We also liked the charm and character too, accentuated by the yellow stock bricks.
The open plan living space was a real draw of this house for the family to spend time together. The conservatory is probably our favourite room; it s really light with lovely views over the open farmland to the rear of the house.
We also have an outdoor entertainment area, which is a real sun-trap and we have enjoyed many barbecues with family and friends over the years. There is additionally a studio annexe outside complete with cloakroom and a kitchenette, ideal for visitors or an older child who wants their own space we have used it as a games room.
Broadstairs is a lovely seaside town with plenty to offer. Along with the pubs, restaurants, cafes and boutique shops, there are seven beaches to choose from. For supermarkets and high street stores, you can visit Westwood Cross. We like the fact that everything is within walking distance, but there are regular bus services from Bromstone Road; and the train station with the high-speed service to London St. Pancras is just 15 minutes away on foot.
There is a good selection of primary, secondary and grammar schools just a short walk away, all of which have been rated as Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and this was important to us when choosing the house.
Now that our children are older, we ve decided that we d like a project, but we are staying within Broadstairs as we love living here.
